Growing up in the coastal town of Gloucester, Virginia, and following in her father’s footsteps as a chef, Jennel found her love for the sea, sailing, and food early on. That connection naturally led her to a life of cooking on the ocean. For over 25 years, she’s been a private chef, creating meals and memorable events for clients on sailing and motor yachts, in their homes, on private aircraft, and in corporate settings.
Jennel received her formal culinary training at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City, earning diplomas in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management. She’s also studied with chefs in Thailand, Greece, Spain, and Mexico, and worked in restaurants in New York City, San Francisco, Washington D.C., and Antigua, West Indies. In addition, she’s a certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and holds a B.S. in Human Services from Old Dominion University.
Jennel brings all of these experiences—and her genuine love of cooking for others—into every kitchen, creating meals that are both nourishing and memorable, whether aboard a private yacht, in a vacation villa, or at home.

Jennel Tiller has more than 25 years of chef experience in restaurant and private settings, providing 5 star food and service to her clients. She is versed in many cuisines as well as food intolerances and allergies and lifestyle diets and accomodations. Jennel offers a variety of services, including, but not limited to; dinner parties, diet specific menus, drop-off meal services, cooking classes and simple chic cakes. She emphasizes on using fresh, organic, local ingredients and is very receptive to any feedback and requests that are given to her. Jennel likes to poke fun that her attention to cleanliness is as keen as her cooking skills and she respects every client's property and privacy.
Whether it is evening hors d’oeuvres, a silver service dinner, business luncheon, bridal shower, family supper, intimate dinner for two, or whatever your fancy, Jennel will make sure that you have the ultimate dining savior-faire.
